Parasola and Cairn Agency designed a poster to promote an electrified Baja Beetle at Goodwood Members' Meeting over the weekend of 9 April 2022. The petrol engine, fuel tank, gear box, and all related components were removed and replaced with an electric system, including Tesla battery packs and a direct drive Tesla motor by Type2 Detectives and Electric Classic Cars.

Aeron Buchanan admits that he is still finding the brand identity for his start-up Banzhou Electric and so their logo is in a state of flux - and so we created the following flexible logo which was used on the poster.

For this publicity stunt, the car was painted and signed by graffiti artist Mr Penfold in a 1980s throwback, in-your-face style.

Parasola designed an A4 information board which referenced Mr Penfold's graphic style. We reworked the poster design, including adding a cream background colour, and designed a business card and arranged printing. Converting classic cars to electric is a wonderful way to keep these beautiful cars on the road - we hope we can continue to help Banzhou drive ahead.
